LAST EVENT
June 24, 2010
Two-tier educational and networking
program in conjunction with Light Reading
Our last event was a stimulating and informative panel discussion, “SelecTV: A Debate on Cable’s Interactive Future.” Formerly known as EBIF, SelecTV is an interactive TV standard getting tremendous attention now because of the potential impact that interactive advertising could have on cable revenue, as well as the improved subscriber experience that it would enable and that satellite TV can’t match. Presenters included executives from Cox Communications, Cisco Systems, and more. The program left attendees with a basic understanding of what SelecTV is, how it works, and what it can do for your company so they knew how to plan for the remainder of this year and next. The 4:00 p.m. presentation was followed by a cocktail reception. The event was held at The Westin Buckhead.
Prior to the SelecTV presentation, Light Reading extended a free* invitation to its third annual Cable Next-Gen Video Strategies: Winning the Three-Screen Battle conference.

Share an interesting fact about yourself to be published in CTAM IQ! This isn’t the stuff you see in other publications about people getting promoted, etc. We want to learn a bit more about you. Keep it under 20 words and any photos are optional.

Here’s a few examples:
- Hal Schlenger and his wife just fostered their 52nd Golden Retriver for Golden Retriver Rescue of Atlanta.
- Monica Carriedo once sold audio speakers to Oprah Winfrey while living in Chicago.
- Dan Santelle has an identical twin, and Dan has twin boys himself.
You get the idea. Please share your stories by emailing christina.schoellen@turner.com.
